Walking the Camino de Santiago (virtually!)
We did it
On 27th January 2022 we successfully raised $750 with 8 supporters in 56 days

Raise money and awareness for the UNICEF vaccinaid “Give the world a shot” campaign.

I’m walking the Camino de Santiago’s 774km virtually via an app logging my local walking so I can think positively about future travel prospects whilst waiting for WA’s borders to open. Also acutely aware we need more vaccines distributed to under-vaccinated parts of the world so using the virtual Camino de Santiago to raise funds for  UNICEF’s vaccinaid programme (UNICEF is a partner to Covax). I’m aiming to do the full Camino de Santiago by mid Feb 2022 as in theory WA will open its borders by then???? What will come first - WA open borders or I finish the Camino??

Want to fundraise for this cause?

Donations made to UNICEF’s VaccinAid appeal will go towards UNICEF’s work to deliver COVID-19 vaccines, tests and treatment to help bring an end to the pandemic. In the unlikely event that the funds raised exceed UNICEF’s funding requirements for this appeal, your donation will go to supporting children in need, wherever the need is greatest.
